8125 1 Hour CE Course Pool Chemical Safety

MEETS CILB REQUIREMENTS FOR WORKPLACE SAFETY. Safety considerations for most of the hazardous chemicals used in the swimming pool industry are covered.

As a result of this course:
Learner will identify ways to store and transport chemicals safely to avoid contact with water and other chemicals.

Learner will identify ways to prevent fires in areas in which pool chemicals are stored and what to do should a fire occur.

Learner will recognize the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), how to avoid chemical-related injuries, and what to do should these injuries occur.

At the conclusion of the course you will take a 10 question quiz to validate that you have achieved the learning outcomes of the course. You must receive a passing score of 70 to receive your certificate. If you fail the test you may re-take it immediately at no charge.

There are no prerequisites for this course.
