8133 2 Hour CE Course Water Chemistry and Balancing

MEETS CILB GENERAL REQUIREMENTS. Proper water chemistry and balancing is perhaps the most important challenge facing the pool professional. This course covers all of the individual components of water chemistry such as pH, Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, TDS, Stabilizer and, of course, the chemistry of chlorine.

As a result of this course:
Learner will recognize the effect of pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, total dissolved solids, and temperature on the pool and how to achieve the desired levels of each.
Learner will recognize problems caused by unbalanced water and how to solve them.
Learner will differentiate between the various sanitizer systems and determine the appropriate one for various applications.


At the conclusion of the course you will take a 10 question quiz to validate that you have achieved the learning outcomes of the course. You must receive a passing score of 70 to receive your certificate. If you fail the test you may re-take it immediately at no charge.
