8130 1 Hour CE Course Pool and Spa Maintenance

MEETS CILB GENERAL REQUIREMENTS. This class focuses on the actual cleaning and stain removal of spa and pool surfaces, decks and bathrooms. Specific guidance is given on draining, acid washing and re-filling a pool. The handling of fecal accidents following CDC recommendations is also covered.

As a result of this course:
Learner will recognize sources of visible dirt and potential bacteria and how to remove them.

Learner will recognize when it is necessary to acid wash a pool and the correct procedure.

Learner will identify common maintenance problems inherent in the pool or spa environment and how to perform the repairs necessary to correct them.

At the conclusion of the course you will take a 10 question quiz to validate that you have achieved the learning outcomes of the course. You must receive a passing score of 70 to receive your certificate. If you fail the test you may re-take it immediately at no charge.
